Seneca House Capital (“SHC”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling personal information responsibly.

This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information when you visit our website, contact us, submit an enquiry or use one of our online intake forms.

1. Information we may collect

Depending on how you interact with SHC, we may collect information including:

  • your name, email address, telephone number and other contact details;
  • your job title, organisation and professional role;
  • information about a business, project, financing requirement or proposed transaction;
  • information about a capital-provider mandate, lending criteria, investment preferences or areas of interest;
  • information submitted by advisers, intermediaries or introducers;
  • correspondence, supporting documents and other information you voluntarily provide;
  • technical information relating to your use of our website where cookies, analytics or similar technologies are enabled.

Please avoid submitting personal or confidential information that is not reasonably necessary for your enquiry.

2. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and communicate with you;
  • assess whether an opportunity, mandate or introduction may be relevant to SHC;
  • conduct initial transaction qualification and capital-readiness assessment;
  • understand capital-provider requirements and mandate fit;
  • manage relationships with businesses, capital providers, advisers, intermediaries and other counterparties;
  • coordinate due diligence, transaction preparation and capital-raising activities where an engagement progresses;
  • maintain appropriate business, administrative and compliance records;
  • operate, secure and improve our website, systems and services;
  • comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements;
  • protect SHC, its counterparties and other persons from fraud, misuse or unlawful activity.

We process personal information only for legitimate business purposes and where permitted by applicable law.

3. HubSpot and other service providers

SHC uses HubSpot to support its online intake forms, contact management and customer-relationship management activities.

Information submitted through our HubSpot forms may therefore be processed and stored using HubSpot systems on SHC’s behalf.

We may also use technology providers, professional advisers and other service providers where reasonably necessary to operate our business.

These service providers may process personal information only in connection with the services they provide to SHC.

4. Sharing of information

SHC does not sell personal information.

Where appropriate, and subject to applicable confidentiality arrangements, we may share relevant information with:

  • capital providers being considered for a transaction;
  • professional advisers and service providers;
  • technology and infrastructure providers;
  • counterparties involved in an authorised transaction process;
  • regulators, public authorities or other persons where disclosure is required by law.

Submission of information to SHC does not mean that such information will automatically be circulated to capital providers or other third parties.

5. International processing and transfers

SHC operates across multiple jurisdictions and may use service providers that process information outside the Cayman Islands.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that it is handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including business, contractual, legal, compliance and record-keeping requirements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the relationship concerned.

7. Security

SHC takes reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can, however, be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights in relation to personal information held about you, including rights to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request that certain processing be restricted or stopped where applicable;
  • object to certain uses of your personal information;
  • object to direct marketing;
  • raise a concern regarding the way your personal information has been handled.

Where applicable, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority.

9. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies, analytics tools or similar technologies to support website functionality, security and performance measurement.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate information or consent mechanisms will be provided.

Third-party services used by the website may also set or use cookies in accordance with their own privacy practices.

10. Third-party websites and forms

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

SHC is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites that operate independently from SHC.

Where an external service processes information on SHC’s behalf, that processing may also be governed by the relevant provider’s terms and privacy documentation.
